Sign-up bonuses on the Tesco Clubcard MasterCard have been thin on the ground this year. The good news is that Tesco has been circulating a special link by email which gives 1,000 bonus points if you take out the card before June 8th.
There is no minimum spend required. All you have to do is make one purchase.
You will not find this deal on the Tesco Bank website.
The card has a representative APR of 18.9% variable.
In the long run, this may not be the best credit card for you. You earn Clubcard points at a poor rate of 1 per £4 spent. Even worse, each transaction is rounded down to the nearest £4, so a £7.99 spend only earns 1 point! Even if you average 200% of the face value of your vouchers when you use them, you are only receiving 0.5% back on your spend.
The interest rate is also high. If you would not pay off the balance every month, you are better off with a specialist credit card carrying a far lower interest rate – even if it gives no rewards.
Do you have a Clubcard or Nectar credit card? If not, you can receive up to 20,000 FREE points for signing up! Full details are in this article.
