For the third year running, Tesco has brought back its very generous Christmas promotion on gift cards. This is an easy way to solve all your present problems this Winter whilst picking up a generous side helping of Clubcard points.
The first thing you need is the December issue of the free ‘Tesco Food Family Living’ magazine which will hopefully be piled up somewhere in your nearest large Tesco.
It looks like this, but with a different cover:
You want as many copies as you can find!
Turn to page 103 and you will find a coupon offering 100 Clubcard points when you purchase any £20 gift card, excluding Tesco own-brand gift cards.
You can use multiple coupons per transaction – you will need one for every £20+ gift card you purchase.
This doubles up with the on-going promotion offering 150 Clubcard points when you spend £50 or more on gift cards at Tesco.
If you pick up two magazines and purchase 2 x £25 gift cards, for example, you would earn:
150 bonus Clubcard points for spending £50
2 x 100 bonus Clubcard points for spending two lots of £20
That would give you a total of 350 Clubcard points, worth a potential £10+ in Clubcard Boost deals. Assuming that you would otherwise have spent £50 in cash at whichever retailer you go for, or you give the gift cards away at presents, it represents free points.
Until 22nd November, you can also combine this with the 20% discount being offered on selected gift cards! This is a pretty decent package I have to say.Want to earn more Clubcard or Nectar points?
