500 – 1,000 extra Clubcard points and free delivery with TVs

In case Santa misses your chimney on Friday or he did not see that brand new TV on your wishlist, Tesco Direct is giving you quite a few excuses to justify buying a Christmas present for yourself.

There’s free delivery on all TVs, you are saving £8 on any own-brand bracket when purchased with any TV and you get £10 off when buying any TV and TP-Link Powerline Adaptor.

On top of that some TVs also come with extra Clubcard points if ordered before 28th December.

The LG 32LF510U 32 Inch WiFi Built In HD Ready 720p LED TV with Freeview for £169 comes with 500 extra points. It’s also about £30 cheaper than anywhere else online.

LG 32LFlF510U Tesco Clubcard bonus pointsWhen buying the Samsung UE32J4510 32 Inch Smart WiFi Built In HD Ready 720p LED TV with Freeview for £269 you receive 1000 extra points. As this TV costs pretty much the same everywhere else online, this seems like a fair deal.

Tesco Direct had 3 more TVs with bonus points on offer which are currently sold out and only available at Tesco partners. As they might be back in stock before 28th December, I had a look at prices elsewhere.

The Samsung UE32J4500 32 Inch (£269, 1000 bonus points) is currently only available via Tesco partner Hughes for £259.  This is £10 cheaper which is pretty much the equivalent of the bonus points you would have received, although, of course, the Tesco deal is better if you know you will redeem your points for 2x or 3x face value.

The Samsung UE40J6300 40 Inch Smart TV (£499, 500 bonus points) is available on Amazon for just £419 – definitely not worth waiting for this one to be back in stock.

The LG 42LF580V 42″ TV (£349, 1000 bonus points) costs £400 when ordered via Tesco Direct at Hughes and is £355 on Amazon – probably the only one worth checking back for.

Unfortunately you have now missed the last date for ordering in time for Christmas – both ‘click and collect’ and Express Delivery had a cut off of 5pm Monday – but there is plenty of time to order in time for New Year.
