£10 off your next easyJet flight – for everyone with over 2,000 Nectar points

easyJet and Nectar have launched a limited offer today which may require you to move quickly to sign up.

You can claim a £10 discount voucher off your next easyJet flight, valid for bookings until 10th March.  You can travel at any future date.

The only catch is that you must redeem at least 2,000 Nectar points as part-payment for your flight.  This will get you a discount of 0.5p per point, so you are no worse off than using your points for most other Nectar offers.

You need to visit this website in order to request your discount voucher.  There are only 5,000 vouchers available – a countdown clock shows how many are left.  (4,100 at 11pm Friday.)

Assuming you redeem just 2,000 Nectar points as part-payment, the deal effectively means that you are getting 1p per point in value.  This is very good by Nectar standards.

There is no rush to redeem your code – you have until 10th March to book – but you need to request a code ASAP.  There do not seem to be any date restrictions on how far in advance you can book so I assume that it is valid on any easyJet flight starting from the UK.

PS.  It is not clear if anyone can get a voucher or if you need to have over 2,000 points in your account to do it.  I can’t test it as my account has over 2,000 points already.  If it does not check your account balance, you could request a voucher now and then get the points later through other promotions such as Swipe & Win this weekend.  You have a month to earn them.

  1. Shame you couldn’t find a more up to date EasyJet picture – they’ve not used 737’s in years! 😉

  2. Great offer and a rare chance to get some extra value out of Nectar points.

I booked a flight to Turkey a couple of weeks ago with points; I may have to find a nice weekend city break somewhere to make use of this offer now.

  3. Hi,
I must be missing something, in order to get £10 off, if effectively the value is 1p per point, how come I have to commit 2k points? would that not give me only 0.5p per point, which is as you say the deal most of the times with the vast majority of the nectar partners?
    Thanks
    a

    • You spend 2,000 Nectar points for £10 off a flight (the normal 0.5p per point) and the bonus code gives you a £10 discount on top, so total £20 saving for a minimum of 2,000 points.

  4. I spotted a £13 booking fee

    • They take this off the cost of the flight so you don’t pay more for using Nectar points.

E.g. a normal cash fare of £50 would become a fare of £37 plus £13 booking fee when using Nectar.

  5. Lady London says:

I think I can answer the question about whether you have to have the 2000 points in your Nectar account already before you can request the voucher.

I have about 250 points. The voucher request form keeps telling me my Nectar number is invalid.
It isn’t, because I have just logged into the Nectar site with it.

So I am guessing the voucher request screen is programmed to reject anyone who hasn’t already accrued the 2000 points.
