2000 extra Clubcard points with iPads!

Now this is one of the better extra Clubcard points offers we’ve seen recently:  you get 2000 extra Clubcard points when buying an iPad before 22nd February.

iPads are pretty much never reduced in price and usually cost the same everywhere – you don’t even get much of a saving in duty free at the airport.  These are selling out quite quickly and last time I checked, 11 of the 56 iPad variations had already gone.

The Apple iPad mini 2 with 16GB and WiFi in space grey and silver is the cheapest version is still available at £219. And when buying this iPad and a cover together you save an additional £5.

If you felt that you could get 3 x the face value of your points when redeeming for a good Clubcard Boost deal (here is our list of the best ones) then your 2000 points would be worth £60 – almost 30% of what you are paying.

For £319 you can get the Apple iPad Air with 16GB and WiFi. This iPad also comes with the separate offer of £5 off when buying with a cover or case.

The Apple iPad mini 3, 128GB, WiFi & 4G LTE (Cellular) in silver doesn’t only come with 2000 extra Clubcard points but has also been reduced in price and costs now £439 (used to be £579).

As with all Apple products you need to decide prior to buying how much storage you will need.  Have a look at the full range to find the right one for you.  Apps are getting bigger and bigger (some apps are now close to 1GB and 500 MB is fairly common – Excel is that big, for example) and it is easy to fill the space.

I would jump in sooner rather than later if you are keen.  The 2000 extra Clubcard points will be added on all orders until 22nd February.

Comments

  1. Great deal if you were buying a new iPad, 2000 points for nothing.

  2. Is it ever worth purchasing to sell again on eBay? I’m guessing that you’d need a bigger bonus to make it worthwhile (and with minimal loss).

  3. Would it not be better to wait until the Clubcard boost event starts, which is to end on Feb 29th? could just about cross over dates wise pay with points and gain some back?

    • I thought this had been pulled at short notice. Tesco staffers posting elsewhere claim no knowledge. We have not been sent anything either.

  4. Does anyone know if this offer is available in-store too? Thanks

  5. Hi all, does anyone know how many Tesco will let you buy before not giving you any extra points? Know the limit is 6 on things in store. Have to buy some for work

    • Tricky. May be easier to split over different family Clubcard accounts – don’t forget the 30,000 points per quarter cap on any Clubcard account too.

  6. Looked at this offer and Amazon- Then discovered same price at John Lewis with 3 years warranty thrown in free!!
You pays your money and takes your choice.

  7. Presumably if you buy this through the avios.com tesco direct site you then get an extra 2 points per £ for the cost of the ipad as well?
