500 or 1000 extra Clubcard points with two TVs plus get NOW TV boxes (with 500 points) half price

It’s been a while since Tesco last tempted us to buy a new TV by throwing in some extra Clubcard points. Mid February to be precise. If you’ve been waiting for the TVs to reappear on Shopper Points, you will be pleased to hear that Tesco Direct is giving you 500 or 1000 extra Clubcard points with two TVs until 18th May.

Included are the Digihome 43 Inch 287FHDDLEDCNTD FHD SMART LED TV with Freeview HD for £199 with 500 extra Clubcard points

and the Samsung UE43J5500 43 Inch Smart WiFi Built In Full HD 1080p LED TV with Freeview HD for £369 with 1000 extra Clubcard points. Make sure to choose the Tesco buying option as one of the partners has got the TV for £2 cheaper and is therefore the default option on the website.

And the offer gets better:

  • Buy a selected TV bracket with any TV and save £8 (ends 1st September)
  • Buy a selected TV and get a 2M Belkin cable at 50% off (ends 3rd May)
  • Buy any TV and selected soundbar and get £50 off (ends 18th May)
  • Save £10 when spending £75 on selected electonics and gaming (e-coupon: TDX-PF4N) (ends 3rd May)
  • Save £20 when spending £150 on selected elecronics and gaming (e-coupon: TDX-HYW3) (ends 3rd May)
  • Free delivery on all TVs
  • Half price on selected NOW TV boxes (ends 31st May)

The NOW TV boxes offer is worth taking a closer look at. If you remember the post from 9th April, you know that two NOW TV boxes come with 500 extra Clubcard points until 1st May. These two happen to be the ones included in the half price offer when buying a new TV.

In theory you could buy both NOW TV boxes for £12.50 each, enjoy a free trial of Sky Movies AND Sky Entertainment and receive an additional 1000 extra Clubcard points.

Remember to order before 1st May in this case as the 500 bonus points on the NOW TV boxes offer expires that day. If you just want to buy a TV, you’ve got until 18th May to pick up 500 or 1000 extra Clubcard points – although the two discount codes above expire on 3rd May.  Hope all that makes sense …

The half price Now TV boxes appears only to be if you buy a TV….which is a shame and not clear in the article. Let me know if I’m missing something !!

    • That is what the article was saying, if you buy the TV the offer gets better…

    • Yes, you have to buy a TV to get a now tv box for £12.50. Only a good deal if you needed a new TV and a now Box.

      • Not necessarily. I think if you’re buying the TV, buying the Now TV box for £12.50 (even if you don’t need one) is a decent deal – basically £12.50 for 500 clubcard points = 1,200 avios + 2 months sky movies on Now TV + HDMI cable

    • No, you’re not missing anything. Apologies if it wasn’t clear.

  2. Just return the TV for a full refund. You get the NowTV boxes for free.

    • Sadly, you only get the £12.50 saving once per type of NowTV box. Just stuck 10 of the movies box in, just £12.50 saving.

      • Yep I certainly wouldn’t want my local Tesco to find even more reasons to wonder what I’m up to now 🙂

btw those nice Tesco people just sent me 3 x £8 off £40 on groceries

        My wife only got (1 x £6 off £40) + (5 x £4 off £40)
