Sainsbury’s has launched a month long offer which will give you 10 times the standard number of Nectar points on all of your health and beauty purchases.
That means 10 Nectar points per £1 spent. This is equivalent to at least 5% cashback on your spending, and potentially more if you redeem them for a Nectar special deal. The recent Caffe Nero promotion, for example, would have got you at least 2p per point.
This offer is not targetted and you do not have to register for it.
Here are the simple rules:
Valid until midnight on 24th May
Valid on multiple transactions
Some exclusions apply
10 points per £1 includes your usual 1 point per £1 so you are only getting 9 ‘extra’ points
And here is the ‘official’ small print:
From 27 April 2016 to 24 May 2016 inclusive, customers will receive 10 points per £1 (including base points of 1 point per £1) spent on health & beauty (including ‘baby’ medicines, baby hair care, baby skincare and baby bathing products only) and health & beauty electrical general merchandise (products located in the health & beauty aisle in store or the health & beauty’ and ‘personal care’ sections online). Other baby products and over-the-counter pharmacy products are not included in the promotion. Offer applies in supermarkets, in convenience and groceries online delivered between 27 April and 24 May. Minimum purchase £1. Points will be awarded within 48 hours.
This is clearly not a life changing deal. However, it is likely that Sainsbury’s will continue to run other health and beauty offers (money off, 241 etc) alongside this promotion which could make it worth stacking up on your favourite brands.Want to earn more Clubcard or Nectar points?
