  1. Hotpoint… isn’t that the brand whose tumble driers are a fire hazard (along with Creda and Indesit). Yet they are taking months or even years to fix the affected machines.

Even there are no reported problems with dishwashers, I’m not sure that I would want to buy an appliance from a company that appears to treat customers’ safety in such a casual manner. Not even for triple points.

    • Yes, my parents have an Indesit washer dryer, they emailed CS with model number and were advised on email their dryer was not on a list of potential issues. They checked a website and saw their model was on the list so contacted them back and was then told it was on the dangerous list.
Secondly they were then advised an engineer couldn’t inspect the machine until Jan 2017?

  2. O/T question but Tesco clubcard related… If I have one £50 voucher on my account and only redeem £30 worth of virgin vouchers how is the remaining £20 treated? I.E. where does the “change” go and how long does it take to get there? Thanks in advance.

    • Genghis says:

Currently, the £20 change would be returned as 2000 clubcard points which would then come through on your next quarterly statement (August); although this might be changed as discussed recently.
