500 extra Clubcard points with Samsung Blu-Ray / DVD-Player

Time for a new Blu-Ray / DVD-Player?

Until 15th June (that is tomorrow, Wednesday), you will receive 500 extra Clubcard points with this Samsung BD-J5500 3D Blu-Ray / DVD-Player.

It plays Blu-Rays in ‘Full HD’ quality, upscales DVDs and can supports connectivity with the internet to access Netflix or BBC iPlayer.

The price for this player is £69. Argos, John Lewis and Samsung sell it for the same price. Amazon is once more slightly cheaper and has got this Samsung player for £61. However as the 500 Clubcard points can go as far as £15 when exchanged at 3 x face value for a good Clubcard Boost deal, it is still worth getting the player from Tesco Direct.

This player is not a deal unless for some reason you particularly want this specific model – even if you achieve £20 from the 500 points. The model is generally overpriced, I’m not sure how they justify it.
