Amazon Prime Day is here! What started as a one off event to celebrate Amazon’s 20th birthday last year, seems to become an annual sales event. Technically Amazon Prime Day started yesterday with some deals that expired at midnight. However the best offers are being released today and we have some exclusive information about what’s included.
Everyone can benefit today. Even if none of the special offers are for you, you can get a £5 bonus when you buy a £30 Amazon gift card – see below for details.
There are two kinds of deals. Deals Of The Day and Lightning Deals.
Deals of the Day have been released at midnight and are running for 24 hours.
Some of the deals are:
- Lenovo K5 Dual Sim Smartphone – Grey/Black for £94.99 instead of £129.99
- Lenovo Ideapad 100 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black) for £329.99 instead of £419,99
- Sony PlayStation 4 500GB – Black for £229 instead of £322.76
Lightning Deals will be released at various times throughout the day and last for only 4 hours.
In order to make the most of Amazon Prime Day, you need to keep an eye on the Amazon website throughout the whole day, however we were given advance notice of the deals, so I can tell you about some of the offers.
I’m not allowed to write about the pricing though and you will need to check the website once the deal is live to find out about the price. However what I can tell you is that the following offers are worth having a look at:

(Amazon actually encouraged this last year, knowing that a good percentage of people will decide to keep it)
If you look at the advantages of Amazon Prime, you will see that it’s definitely worth signing up for a 30 day trial.
