Should you convert Tesco Clubcard points into London Bridge Experience tickets?

Is it worth converting your Tesco Clubcard points into London Bridge Experience tickets? And how do you do it? Today I want to look at whether London Bridge Experience tickets are a good use of your Clubcard vouchers.

Not all Clubcard Boost offers are a great deal. This page of Shopper Points helps you decide which is the best Clubcard redemption by listing ALL Clubcard Boost offers based on the multiple of face value you get.

As you can see, offers range from 4 x face value (days out vouchers, restaurant deals) down to 2 x. Even at double the face value, of course, you are getting a better deal than redeeming your vouchers in a Tesco store at face value.

Spending Clubcard vouchers on London Bridge Experience tickets

The London Bridge Experience was set up, slightly cheekily, directly opposite The London Dungeon before the latter moved from London Bridge to the South Bank.  It had a similar aim – a scary approach to London history – and benefited from people who turned at the Dungeon but were put off by the queues!  I’m not sure how trade is going now that the Dungeon is a mile down the road.

You can convert your Clubcard vouchers into London Bridge Experience tickets on this page of the Tesco website.

You will need £6 of Clubcard points for a ticket for either an adult or a child (children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by someone over the age of 16). Your ticket is emailed to you directly to print at home.

The ticket is valid for six months from the day you redeem.

Is the London Bridge Experience a good way to spend your Clubcard points?

Pretty much, yes.

A London Bridge Experience ticket on the door costs £26.95 for an adult, £24.45 with student ID and £21.95 for a child (5-15 years). Booked online in advance the ticket price is £19.95 for an adult and £17 for a childd (5-15 years).

(Booking in advance commits you to a particular day. A Clubcard ticket is flexible as long as you use it within six months.)

On that basis, looking at the on the door price for an adult, you are getting (£26.95 / £6 of Tesco vouchers) 4.5 x face value. This is the best I’ve seen so far.

However, there are various offers available for the London Bridge Experience.

Lastminute.com for example was recently selling tickets for £18 (although they were not available yesterday) and vouchercloud has had 2 for 1 ticket codes. As these offers vary, I suggest a Google search prior to booking tickets.

If you use a 2 for 1 voucher, you will still pay £13.50 per ticket. Compared to this, your Clubcard vouchers are only giving you just over 2 x face value – but even that isn’t a terrible result.

If you can’t find any live offers, the London Bridge Experience is a very good way to spend your Clubcard points.  You might also want to consider redeeming for one of the other high value Clubcard point redemptions on our list.
