Do not redeem Clubcard vouchers for Chessington – cash tickets now just £23!

Back in June, we wrote an article looking at whether Chessington World of Adventures was a good use of your Clubcard vouchers.

We decided that, overall, it was.

For the next three weeks, it definitely isn’t!

Until 12th September, Chessington has reduced the price of a cash ticket bought in advance to just £23.  Full details are here.

This makes the two Clubcard redemptions options look bad value:

The first option, £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers and £21.99 on top, is clearly terrible.  That offer is here at tesco.com.

The second option, £12.50 of Clubcard vouchers per ticket, means that you are only getting (£23 / £12.50) 1.8x the face value of your Clubcard vouchers.  This is poor.   That offer is here at tesco.com.

If you still want to squeeze in a Chessington trip before the kids go back to school, you should save your Clubcard vouchers for a better deal and pay cash.  You can book via the Chessington website here.
