Up to 1000 bonus Nectar points with Sainsbury’s Entertainment

Sainsbury’s Entertainment has launched three bonus Nectar points offers that are worth having a look at.

First up, you can get 1000 bonus Nectar points with a 12-month digital magazine subscription.  There is a very wide selection of titles to choose from.

Sainsbury’s Magazine for example costs £2 when bought in-store. The digital version costs £1.50 per issue and a 12-month subscription is £17.

Technically you are paying only £12 for the subscription as you get 1000 Nectar points with a face value of £5 when exchanged at Sainsbury’s stores. Obviously it would make sense to save the points and exchange them at a better rate for example for Pizza Express. You can find the article Rob wrote about this redemption on this page of Shopper Points.

You can find the list of digital magazines on this page of the Sainsbury’s Entertainment website.

The second offer is 100 – 200 bonus Nectar points when buying a new album at Sainsbury’s Entertainment.

I adored Sophie Ellis-Bextor when I was a younger and freaked out a little bit when I realised that Murder On The Dancefloor is 15 years old!  Once you get over this shock, you can buy her new album Familia at Sainsbury’s Entertainment for £6.49 and will get 100 bonus Nectar points.

If her music isn’t your cup of tea, you can find the list of new albums on this page of the Sainsbury’s Entertainment website. (If you want something completely different, I recommend the new A Day To Remember album)

If you only read one book this summer (or rather during the last days of summer), I recommend Our Endless Numbered Days by Claire Fuller. It’s beautifully disturbing with a post-apocalyptic theme. I read it within 2 days. You can buy it at Sainsbury’s Entertainment for £4.99 and 100 bonus Nectar points will be added to your account.

Comments

  1. Better off buying the book on Amazon for £3.85.

    • Like I said yesterday, the reader might appreciate a bit of analysis on whether these are good deals or not

      • We normally do on specific items, but with literally 100+ items available here it isn’t practical.

In general, MP3 prices at Sainsbury’s are comparable with Amazon download prices as David’s comment (and our earlier articles on Sainsbury MP3 deals) shows.

  2. I too like Mademoiselle EBs output. Good variety, and all of it good.

But £6.49! – Just shows it pays to shop around. Paid £8 with iTunes, was similar on Amazon MP3

  3. Shopperpoints site brutally exposes how poor Nectar deals are.
