If you ask me, IKEA is the best store in the world – what’s even better is that IKEA looks the same anywhere in the world. The only downside I’ve found, oddly, are the hot dogs as they differ from country to country.
As a kid we used to go to IKEA on Saturdays and then spend Sundays assembling furniture. I still like to do that, which is probably why I love moving house.
We’ve never covered the IKEA FAMILY card on Shopper Points and after my last IKEA visit this weekend, I felt like it was about time.
The benefits of the IKEA FAMILY card aren’t that exciting, however the card comes with a variety of small perks that add to your IKEA experience.
As a member you get:
- Monthly offers in store
- Members prices on family range
- Free tea or filter coffee
- Food offers
- Extra 10% off sale articles

‘Swipe A Surprise’ happens throughout the year at special times.
You are guaranteed a prize which can be anything from a Hot Dog to furniture or a trip to Stockholm.
How does it work?
When you pay, swipe your IKEA FAMILY card.

Unfortunately I didn’t win any furniture, but when I go back to eat my free hot dog I will swipe my card again.
