There is a page at the top of the Shopper Points menu marked ‘Earn Free Points‘ – email readers can click here. On that page is a list of the few Nectar redemptions which claim to offer more than 0.5p per point of value.
Not all of these deals are as good as they claim, however.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be looking at each of these deals and deciding if you are genuinely getting a ‘premium’ reward when you book them.
First up is photographic company PhotoBox. I am a PhotoBox customer – we have used them for many years to store our digital photos, order prints and produce our annual family Christmas card!
As you can see, you get £3 of credit for every 500 Nectar points you redeem. This isn’t fantastic, but it is better than the £2.50 you would receive using your points anywhere else.
The good news is that this discount is ‘genuine’. It is also easy to use.
As soon as you redeem online, your PhotoBox voucher code is displayed on the screen. No waiting!
This code can be instantly redeemed into your PhotoBox account and added to your credit balance, if any
The price you pay for your photo products is the same regardless of whether you pay cash or use Nectar credits
You can still receive cashback on your order via TopCashback (if you are not already a TopCashback member, you can sign up via our referral link here)
All in all, there is nothing to complain about here. You are genuinely getting a better deal than your typical 0.5p per Nectar point at PhotoBox. From personal experience, I have always been very happy with the quality of the prints and cards they have produced for us.Want to earn more Clubcard or Nectar points?
