GOOD DEAL: 500 Clubcard points with £30 LEGO Disney Princess spend

Tesco Direct has brought back another very generous deal in conjunction with LEGO.

This time, the deal focuses on the LEGO Disney Princess line.

When you spend £30 on LEGO Disney Princess before Monday evening, you will receive 500 bonus Clubcard points.

This is a good offer.  If you usually redeem your Clubcard vouchers for a deal worth 3 x face value, the points are worth £15.  That is equivalent to getting your LEGO for half price.  If you normally redeem for restaurant deals at 4 x face value, you get an even better deal.

Here is the full list of the 12 sets included in the promotion.

The cheapest combination seems to come out at just under £31.  One way of getting to this is with LEGO Disney Princess Anna’s Snow Adventure (£19.99):

plus LEGO Palace Pets Royal Palace Playset (£10.99):

Delivery is FREE if you use ‘Click & Collect’ to your nearest Tesco store.  You can see all 12 sets included in the offer here.

Don’t forget to order before Monday night – and given the limited selection, I would order sooner if you can, in case the sets you have targeted sell out.

Use £4 of Clubcard tokens for Dobbies Rewards and get 24 free drinks!

  1. As the list of products is quite short (12), I ran a quick analysis over the data.

There are 4095 possible product combinations, ranging in total price from £7.59 to £335.54. Of these, 2167 are unique and of these 2152 qualify for the offer by virtue of summing to £30.00 or more.

To make life easier, here is a list of the 12 in-scope products, labeled A-L:

A 60.00 LEGO Disney Princess Elsas Magical Ice Palace 41148
    B 7.59 LEGO Juniors Ariel’s Dolphin Carriage 10723
C 19.99 LEGO Juniors Anna & Elsas Frozen Playground 10736

L 19.99 LEGO Disney Princess Annas Snow Adventure 41147

    Putting them together gives is a total price for each combination e.g. combination “HL” would be products H & L = (£10.99 + £19.99) = £30.98…

The objective of the exercise being to spend as close to £30.00 as possible in order to gain the points, I offer “the top 20 value combinations”, as follows:

  2. I’ve always been doing these offers once, am I under a rookie mistake and can actually do this multiple times? and benefit from multiple lots of CC points?

    • Yes, you can make multiple orders.

What you can’t do is earn 1000 points for a £60 order. It needs to be separate orders for £30 each.
