Get 1,000 Clubcard points with a Tesco Mobile phone from £69

If you are looking for a low-cost mobile phone, either for yourself, for a child or as a spare, this new Clubcard deal might be for you.

(If might also be a profitable one if you fancy investigating eBay reselling options, although I don’t claim to be an expert on that.)

Tesco Direct is offering 1,000 bonus Clubcard points when you buy any of the six mobile phones shown on this page.

Prices start at just £69.  Given that the 1,000 bonus points would be worth £30 if used for a Clubcard Boost deal worth 3 x face value, this is a pretty good offer.  If you use your Clubcard points for frequent flyer miles, you’d be getting 2,400 bonus Avios points.

All of the phones are locked to Tesco Mobile – I don’t how easy it is to unlock them.  Tesco Mobile is a very well regarded provider, however, and you will earn Clubcard points for all of your spending.  This Shopper Points article tells you exactly how to earn points with Tesco Mobile.  You can also get 200 bonus Clubcard points each month via Tesco Mobile family perks as we discussed here.

The cheapest £69 package gets you an Alcatel Pop 4 phone with a 3.5 inch display and 8GB of storage, expandable to 32GB via an SD card.  The main camera is 8MP.

You also receive a FREE Gecko 2 power bank which connects via micro USB and will ensure you never run out of power during the day.

1,000 Clubcard points is a generous incentive and it is worth having a think about ways you could benefit from this offer.  The deal runs until 21st May.  The full list of phones available is here.

  1. really not worth the ebaying, as flooded with them, and the return after fees postage is £10 – £30,

tho always a good time to get a second phone on sniping bids as low as £16.99 on some of the bidding listing that ended in the past few days,

tho moto g5 is all right due to the more CC points, but still only £120 – £135 after fees and postage, tho still not a huge profit even are £60 so better than a lost on the pop 4

    and ya im bored
