Should you convert Tesco Clubcard points into Longleat tickets?

Is it worth converting your Tesco Clubcard points into Longleat tickets? And how do you do it? Today I want to look at whether Longleat is a good use of your Clubcard vouchers.

Not all Clubcard Boost offers are a great deal. This page of Shopper Points helps you decide which is the best Clubcard redemption by listing ALL Clubcard Boost offers based on the multiple of face value you get.

As you can see, offers range from 4 x face value (days out vouchers, restaurant deals) down to 2 x. Even at double the face value, of course, you are getting a better deal than redeeming your vouchers in a Tesco store at face value.

Spending Clubcard vouchers on Longleat Safari Park tickets

You can convert your Clubcard vouchers into Longleat tickets on this page of the Tesco website

You will need £9 of Clubcard points for a ticket for either an adult or a child (children under 3 are free).

There is also a token + cash option available which you can find on this page of the Tesco website.

You will need £2.50 of Clubcard vouchers to receive a special code which will let you buy a ticket for £18 online.

Your tokens will be emailed to you directly and the code entered when booking the ticket online.

The ticket is valid for six months from the day you redeem.

Is Longleat a good way to spend your Clubcard points?

On the face of it, Yes.

A Longleat ticket on the door costs £33.95. If you book online 2 days in advance that comes down to £28.85.

As you can only use the Clubcard vouchers when booking online we need to compare value to the online ticket.

On that basis, you are getting (£28.85 / £9 of Tesco vouchers) 3.2 x face value. This is quite good. A child ticket for Longleat when bought online is £21.20 which means you only get 2.4 x face value.

When using the Clubcard voucher + cash option you are getting (£28.85 / £2.50+£18) 1.4 x face value for an adult ticket and (£21.20 / £2.50 + £18) 1 x face value for a children ticket. This is clearly not as great and you should only go for this option if your Clubcard voucher total does not cover a full ticket token and you still want to go to Longleat.

You might also want to consider redeeming for one of the other high value Clubcard point redemptions on our list.
