easyJet no longer a Nectar redemption partner

And another Nectar partnership is about to end.

We wrote recently about the end of one part of the Nectar / easyJet partnership. easyJet had been removed from the Nectar eshop and Nectar card holders were no longer able to earn Nectar points when booking easyJet flights. This was a shame as it was the only site that let you earn cashback on easyJet.

You were, however, still able to redeem your points for flights at the not very exciting rate of 500 points for a £2.50 easyJet voucher.
On 13th October the redemption part of the partnership will come to an end as well!

If you want to redeem Nectar points for easyJet flights, you must do so before 13th October.

On the other hand, why would you want to do that?

The rate isn’t better than spending your points in Sainsbury’s so you might as well spend your points there and pay cash for your flights.

Or you could spend you points on one of the few Nectar redemptions that are worth more than 0.5p per point which are outlined on our “Current Points Offers” page

Disappointed this is coming to an end, EasyJet is the only partner I’ve been interested in redeeming Nectar points for.

It’s a shame there aren’t other alternative travel partners with Nectar.

    • You can redeem for Expedia vouchers, but these are only valid against the base fare (not any taxes or fees). Makes it difficult to know how much to get a voucher for.

  2. Nectar is losing its sheen with each passing day – there used to be local swim which I so enjoyed spending on, coz it meant free swims with the family. HomeBase and British Gas have already stopped doing Nectar – at this rate its going to be dead pretty soon !!
