TopCashback removes 5% bonus on transfers to Tesco Clubcard

One of the easiest ways of earning 5,000 Clubcard points each year is to transfer over the money you earn from cashback site TopCashback.

TopCashback is an internet shopping site which allows you to earn a small amount of cashback when you visit selected online stores via the links.

This money can be paid out to you as cash, which is the model used by its main competitor Quidco.  However, TopCashback has a special added benefit.

You can move £50 per year of cashback from TopCashback to Tesco in exchange for 5,000 Clubcard points.

If you use those Clubcard points for a good Clubcard Boost deal, you would be tripling the value of your cashback!

The deal has just become marginally worse, however.  Until last week, you would also have received a 5% uplift when you transferred cashback to Tesco.  £50 became £52.50 of Clubcard vouchers.  You can no longer do this, and £50 of cashback will now get you the standard £50 of Clubcard vouchers.

To be honest, this is not a great loss.  TopCashback was being over-generous in the first place, in my opinion.  This deal was so attractive that there was no need to add the extra 5% on top.

If you are not already a TopCashback member, there will an EXCLUSIVE signing up promotion on Shopper Points coming very soon.  Do not sign up before then or you will regret it!
