Earn triple Nectar points with Virgin Trains

Most of the time Nectar card offers are only targeted at certain individuals and writing about them on Shopper Points would be a bit pointless – literally.

However, every once in a while an offer for everyone appears on the radar, like the current one with Virgin Trains.

For the next few days you can get triple Nectar points when booking with Virgin Trains East Coast or West Coast. That is 6 points per £1 instead of the usual 2 points per £1. So why not escape to the country (or spend a day in London if the countryside is where you are based)?

Tickets need to be booked between 16th June and 22nd June for travel by 22nd September.

Virgin Trains West Coast tickets can be booked on the West Coast website here.  To book Virgin Trains East Coast tickets you need to go directly to the Virgin East Coast website here.

Your trip must be partly or wholly on Virgin Trains to earn triple points.  You won’t get the bonus if you book for another train company via the Virgin sites.

More details of the Virgin Trains and Nectar partnership can be found on this page of the West Coast site.
