If you need a Christmas present, this smart phone could be a good option.
To be honest I have never heard of the brand Wileyfox before, but hey I bought a Huawei two years ago though I didn’t know the brand and it was great – until I dropped it on the floor and the screen broke ….
A broken screen shouldn’t be a big problem if you drop the Wileyfox Spark + within the first year as it comes with a free 1-year screen replacement voucher. The phone also comes with a case and 500 extra Clubcard points. It costs just £119.
As I’m intrigued by new brands I did a little research on Wileyfox and learned that it’s actually a British brand. With lots of Asian phone companies popping up this was a little bit surprising.
What’s also surprising is that though it’s an Android phone it comes with Cyanogen OS, an off-shoot of the open source software CyanogenMod that gives you more control over your device and also has better privacy features than most other phones.
The reviews on Amazon are fairly positive (and the price is the same as at Tesco Direct).
Obviously when paying £119 for a smart phone you cannot compare it to a £700 Samsung or iPhone. If this is your budget, however, it seems like a decent product.
To get 500 extra Clubcard points you need to order by 20th November via this page.

I’ve got the Wileyfox Swift & whilst I like it, it’s powerful enough to do what I want, the battery doesn’t last a day. Luckily I’ve got so many microUSB chargers from previous phones that I can charge it at home, work, etc…
That’s the downside of smartphones… If we want a battery that lasts, we need to get a Nokia 3210 🙂
Those were the days…..mine is a great back up.
ps I guess you meant the 6310 or 6310i, both classics.
