Amex FX Offer

Earn 5 x Nectar points with Great Western Railway’s special sale deals

Get a bargain in the Great Western Railway’s January sale and earn 5 x Nectar points.

If you want to travel to the South West by train this winter, you should take a look at the Great Western Railway’s sale.

If you book by 25th January for travel before 24th March, you can get one way tickets from as little as £5.

In addition to good prices, Nectar card holders will get 5 x Nectar points when booking during this sale period.

Usually you get 2 Nectar points per £1 spent on Great Western Railway tickets, however until 25th January you will get a generous 10 Nectar points per £1.  That is worth at least 5% cashback and potentially 10%+ if you save your points for one of the special redemption deals we highlight on Shopper Points occasionally.

You can find out more about the sale on the GWR website.

Terms and conditions for the Nectar offer can be found on the Nectar website.

It’s not entirely clear-if you book tickets before 25th Jan, but for travel in early April, I know that you won’t get the sale prices, but will you get the 5x Nectar points?

    • I booked a ticket for March which got extra points, must have been the 5x as mentioned, but when I booked the return for April just this week as the tickets were released, it was only awared the normal 2 per £.
