Amex FX Offer

3,000 bonus Nectar points with Virgin Trains (widely targetted)

Are you travelling for Easter?

If you do and decide to travel by train, you could earn 3,000 bonus Nectar points.

virgin train on tracks

This is a widely targetted Nectar offer and valid on Virgin East Coast and Virgin West Coast trains.

The rules are that you need to book by 22nd February to travel by 30th April and spend at least £30 in order to get 3,000 bonus points.

As the face value for 3,000 Nectar points is £15 and you can get 1p per 1 point at some Nectar partners during special offer periods, this is indeed a very generous offer.

You are limited to one bonus per person.  If you need to book multiple trips you may want to try using the Nectar accounts of friends or family.

The offer website is here.  You need to log in to your Nectar account first – if you can see the deal, you are targetted for this offer (most people are).

You can book East Coast trains here and West Coast trains here.

  1. Any ideas whether I will earn the bonus if my Virgin trains account is set to earn Virgin miles? Or if the account must be set to earn Nectar points? The T&C’s don’t seem to specify…

  2. Good deal on my Nectar account for Gourmet Society….1,000 points when paying £1 for 90 day trial.
