Amex FX Offer

1,000 extra Clubcard points with £40 worth of Nerf guns

Here is a bit of a last minute offer:

Until tomorrow 6th April you can get 1,000 extra Clubcard points when spending £40 on Nerf guns.

Included are three models in two different colours.

The Nerf Rival Apollo XV-700 Blaster in red and blue cost £29.95 each (£1.50 more than in January). This gun is the cheapest product included. Even if you buy two guns for a total of £60 you can still get 50% off your money back by exchanging the 1,000 Clubcard points at 3 x face value.

The Nerf Rival Atlas XVI-1200 Blaster in blue and red cost £44.95 each. As this is already more than £40 you won’t need to add another gun to get the 1000 extra Clubcard points. You can get £30 back by exchanging the Clubcard points at 3 x face value and will technically pay just £15 for this gun.

The Nerf Rival Zeus MXV-1200 Blaster in red and blue cost £59.95. With the 1,000 extra Clubcard points exchanged at 3 x face value you will technically pay half price on these guns.

This is definitely one of the more generous extra Clubcard points offers.

  1. £19.95 @ ToysRUs at the moment for the £44.95 toy.

    • Wowsers. If converting to avios on ungranthered rate you won’t even ‘break even’ on a 1p val. Slight profit on the genuine 3x offers but cash much more flexible. Not exactly “generous”.

  2. The £59.99 Zeus gun isn’t too bad although it’s going for around £50 on eBay (£65 at Toys R Us)so you would hopefully expect to end up selling for £40 after p&p and fees. £20 for at least 2400 Avios (0.83p / Avios) isn’t too bad if it’s a one off to top up or something but I wouldn’t be looking at more than then one item personally.
Sure someone will do better from it.

Going through the BA E-store and using your BA Amex card should give at least another 118 Avios to sweeten the deal slightly.

    • Forgot to add the 59CC points for the purchase = 120 Avios.
      So 2520 Avios (0.79p / Avios)

+ any e-store and Amex points.
