TODAY is Amazon Prime Day – Amazing savings for one day only!!

Amazon Prime Day is here! What started as a one off event to celebrate Amazon’s 20th birthday two years ago, has become an annual sales event. This year Amazon Prime Day started one day earlier with the first deals going live at 6pm yesterday. However, I had a look at some of the deals and found that the best offers are being released today.

Like last year we have some exclusive information about what’s included.

There are two kinds of deals. Deals Of The Day and Lightning Deals.

Deals of the Day have been released at midnight and are running for 24 hours.

If you had been thinking about getting an Amazon Echo speaker, today is the day!  It is reduced from £149 to just £79 – a huge £70 saving.  That deal is here.

Amazon has also sharply reduced its Fire 7 tablet.  This is down from £49.99 to just £29.99 as you can see here.

And if you’ve been after an Amazon Echo Dot, it is reduced from £49.99 to £34.99, saving £15.  See here for details.

Some of the other deals include:

Lightning Deals will be released at various times throughout the day and last for only 6 hours (that is 2 hours longer than last year).

In order to make the most of Amazon Prime Day, you need to keep an eye on the Amazon website throughout the whole day.  We were given advance notice of the Lightning Deals, so I can tell you about some of the offers.

I’m not allowed to write about the pricing though, so you will need to check the website once the deal is live to check that. However what I can tell you is that the following offers are worth having a look at:

That’s not all ….

Amazon also has a special deal on Unlimited Music for Prime members.

For just 99p you can get 4 months of music streaming instead of paying £7.99 per month. This is a saving of £30.97 and was a no-brainer for me – I am listening to the ‘Chilled Modern Pop Music’ playlist as I’m typing this post. You can sign up via this link.

And if you buy a £50 Amazon gift card via this link, you will get a £5 bonus.

In order to benefit from the savings you MUST be a member of Amazon Prime. However …. nothing stops you from signing up for a FREE 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime via this link and then cancelling 29 days later – but I bet most will keep it.  (I have it!)

If you look at the advantages of Amazon Prime, you will see that it’s definitely worth signing up for a 30 day trial.

Not only will you be able to take part in Amazon Prime Day, you will also receive:

Unlimited ‘next day’ delivery

Unlimited TV and movie downloads via the Prime streaming service

Unlimited photo storage

Ad-free albums, playlists and stations with Prime Music (a smaller selection than Unlimited Music)

Free Kindle downloads (selected magazins and books)

After your free 30-day trial, you can continue by paying £79 upfront for 12 months.
