How to buy an IKEA Christmas tree for £5

IKEA – my favourite store in the world has an amazing Christmas tree promotion.

Buy a Christmas tree for £25 and get a £20 voucher.

Technically that’s paying just £5 for your Christmas tree, which leaves more money for presents or food.

How does it work?

Go to IKEA between now and 23rd December and buy a ABIES NORDMANNIANA Christmas tree for £25.

You might want to go rather sooner than later as there is limited stock available.

With your purchase you will receive a £20 voucher.

How can I use my voucher?

The voucher is valid in participating IKEA stores in the UK between 7th February 2018 and 2nd April 2018 which means you better find a good place for it where you don’t lose and also don’t forget about it.

The voucher cannot be used on the IKEA Shop Online, IKEA Restaurant, IKEA Swedish Food Market and IKEA Bistro.

It’s also not valid towards the purchase of home delivery, installation or pick and delivery services or any other service offered by IKEA.

You can find out more about this promotion on your nearest IKEA’s event page.

  1. Any idea how tall the tree is? Can’t find the info on their site

    • Hmm good question I assumed it was the one in the picture but then again that one might be a bit too big for that price?

      • We’ve bought these before and some are quite chunky trees. Typically they have a section of the car park cordoned off with thousands of trees, the vast majority wrapped up tight in mesh. They have always been happy to open up a few to show you how the tree falls out and the shape. They then re net the tree whilst your paying in store. In terms of size, we used to have a fairly high ceiling and at least once I had to trim the top and the body of the tree to get it to fit!

  2. They’re about 6.5-7 feet, roughly
