If you are looking for a Christmas present that’s a bit differend, you should take a look at Tesco Direct’s gift experiences. You can find anything from high tea to photoshoot or tandem flight to driving a sports car.
Even better, if you buy by 27th December (please don’t – you want to gift your present AT Christmas not AFTER!) you get triple Clubcard points and if you use the code TDX-LHKG at check-out, you will save 15%.
Need more inspiration? Here are three suggestions:
Perfumes are a Christmas present classic. So why not play it safe and have the recipient create their own perfume? This gift experience costs £49 (-£7.35 when using the code) and the available locations include London.
Or maybe you need a present for that (crazy) friend who is obsessed with werewolves? The Werewolf Hunt and Battle Experience for £120 includes combat training and a night time werewolf hunt.
What’s every man’s dream? Driving a Ferrari of course. Throw in a Lamborghini ride and you will have found the best present ever. (I don’t guarantee this, but I’m pretty sure). The Ferrari and Lamborghini Driving Blast costs £59 and includes safety instructions, driving both cars for 3 miles and a certificate to show off.
Book by 27th December to get triple Clubcard points and don’t forget to use the code TDX-LHKG at check-out to save 15%.

I think I would want to know a bit more about the supercar experience before I gifted it. It mentions liability for damage to the car and I would not want to bankrupt my son as a result of him writing off the car – it does mention CDW but doesn’t say how much it would be – I would be inclined to include that in my gift I think. The tesco page is poor – most min/max limits are stated twice and apparently the max age is 1.
Oh just noticed that there is also no link to the company’s website or a phone number…
I did a Google search and I think this one is the same company: https://www.buyagift.co.uk/driving-experiences/ferrari-and-lamborghini-driving-blast-br-10229734.aspx
It says on there that CDW is £20-£30
Thanks – I’ll look into it some more.
