Last Chance – 1 extra Clubcard point per £4 when using Pay + ends tomorrow!

You have two more days to get extra Clubcard points when using Pay + (formerly PayQwiq)!

Pay +, if you haven’t heard about it, used to be PayQwiq, but was changed to Pay + (say Pay Plus) a while ago – which looks a bit silly but is easier to pronounce and spell.

It’s Tesco’s payment app which let’s you pay your shopping and automatically collect Clubcard points.

Pay +

Pay + works a bit like Apple or Android Pay, but collects your Clubcard points as you pay and let’s you spend up to £250 in one transaction.

Until tomorrow, 28th February 2018 you will get 1 extra Clubcard point for every £4 spent.

This is a pretty decent offer and should get more people on to the app.

You can read more about Pay + here. You will still receive all your usual loyalty points from your credit card too.

  1. Hello, does anybody know what denominations Pizza Express vouchers come in? I have had £2, £10, £20 before… do they get any bigger?

I have a £50 Tesco voucher to spend and want to get as many Pizza Express vouchers before the rate changes but don’t want to end up with eg 4 x £50 vouchers as some of those would go to waste!

  2. Pay+ (and the older payquik) are poorly thought out

If Tesco sends you coupons – like last months £2 off if you spend £40 they are impossible to use as they are checked against your clubcard (presumably to make sure only you can use them)
So the cashier cant accept them before you use pay+ and of course pay+ pays the bill so no chance afterwards
To be fair the customer services at my local store will give you the cash back- if you queue again
Tesco head office don’t care – just carry your clubcard is their response – but that negates the whole point of pay+
