1,000 extra Clubcard points with two KitchenAid stand mixers – good offer?

Until 21st March you will get 1,000 extra Clubcard points with either a KitchenAid stand mixer in white or in black.

This does sound attractive as these mixers are quite expensive and look pretty neat in your kitchen.

The white KitchenAid stand mixer for £399 is actually £50 cheaper on Amazon.

And the black version is £100 cheaper when bought from Tesco partner Harts of Stur – which is the suggested buying choice. 1,000 extra Clubcard points certainly do not justify the price difference.

These points promotions are agreed way in advance. Tesco Direct operates as a marketplace effectively (like sellers on Amazon), so they have the ability to undercut them with no notice.

Tesco could lower their prices in response, but getting the points bonus changed is not likely to be as easily achieved.
