Changes to Clubcard redemptions – Where can you get more for your points now?

The day has come. No more 4 x face value Tesco Clubcard redemptions.

We’ve all been complaining about the changes to the Tesco Clubcard redemptions.

Tesco thought it would be easier to have all redemptions at 3 x face value, but this meant that a vast number of redemptions went down from 4 x to 3 x face value.

I wrote a last chance piece on Friday highlighting the good 4 x face value redemptions you should consider before the devaluation, but also mentioned that some 3 x face value redemptions like Uber credit are actually better value.

One thing I didn’t mention was that from today there are actually some redemption partners where the face value went up to 3 x from previously 2 x.

I hope I dind’t miss one, but as far as I know these are the redemption partners that have gone up to 3 x face value:

Lifestyle:

Especially Megabus and National Express can be interesting for UK short trips or rides to the airport and redspottedhanky.com helps you find cheap rail fares.

I’m also a big fan of spa days, mani/pedis and massages which is why it’s great to see Spa finder on the list.

But in the end you do have to do some research before exchanging your Clubcard vouchers as it’s possible that there are offers and vouchercodes out there that might be a better option than Clubcard vouchers.
