Double Nectar points this weekend – If England wins

Sainsbury’s has launched a promotion to celebrate England’s success during this years World cup (I do not want to talk about Germany’s performance!)

If you shop with Sainsbury’s today or tomorrow and England wins against Sweden, your earned Nectar points will be doubled up.

How does it work?

Simply swipe your Nectar card when purchasing anything at Sainsbury’s Superstores, Locals or online.

If England wins against Sweden on Saturday, Sainsbury’s will double the earned Nectar points.

What is the small print?

Watching the football is not required – but you could be missing a great game.

Excluded are TU clothing online, Sainsbury’s bank and fuel.

Nectar members in Northern Island and Isle of Wight can not take part in the promotion.

That’s it.

(full T&Cs are here)

So if you need to buy some beers, crisps and meat for your football bbq, you might as well pick them up in Sainsbury’s, hope England wins and then get double Nectar points.

  1. If its any consolation Anika. I had Germany in the office sweepstake and was really pleased that for once I had picked a team with a real chance of winning …………. oh well, there’s always the next world cup!

    • I guess I would have been more disappointed had they actually played well. They were just not good this time… Well two years to get ready for the European Championship…

  2. Northern Island? Anyway, what a bizarre exclusion…
