Get £10 when you sign up to TopCashback for free – exclusive Shopper Points offer

It’s been over a year since I last mentioned our excusive sign-up offer for Top Cashback and thought it would be good to re-run the article.

We’ve covered the TopCashback shopping portal here on Shopper Points a couple of times, highlighting current sign-up offers for new members. These were usually £5 gift cards for stores like Marks and Spencer, Debenhams or Boots.

TopCashback approached us to offer an exclusive deal to our readers.

Instead of the usual £5 gift card, you will receive a £10 sign-up bonus in hard cash

Instead of having to earn £10 of cashback before receiving your bonus, you will receive your £10 bonus in return for making a £10 purchase at any retailer

This is substantially better than the standard sign-up deals which require you to earn £10 cashback first, which often needs £200 or more of purchases.

If you don’t know much about TopCashback, here is a little overview.

TopCashback is a site which allows you to earn a small amount of cashback from your day to day shopping by clicking through to participating online shops from its site.

It is very similar to Quidco if you are a member of that site. Nectar eShops also has links to many shops on its site which work on a similar basis, except that you earn Nectar points instead of cash.

One of the main reasans for using TopCashback in the past was their partnership with Tesco (which ended on 31st July 2016) as you used to be able to convert your cashback into Clubcard points. The Tesco partnership has now ended, but you can still take your cashback as cash (obviously) or get a 5% bonus for taking it as a gift card from one of various High Street chains.

There are hundred of retailers on TopCashback where you can easily spend £10 to trigger your £10 sign-up bonus. For example, I bought my last two pairs of Converse via TopCashback and also got cashback for buying Norton’s internet security software. You can even buy things such as train tickets.

How to join TopCashback

You can join TopCashback by using this link which is the special Shopper Points sign-up page.

You need to use this special link to receive your £10 cashback.

If you sign up using the general link on the TCB website then you will not receive a bonus.

There are two membership levels at TopCashback – a FREE version and a £5 annual fee version. The £5 level pays slightly higher cashback and has improved customer service if you have any problems. To be honest, I would start at the free level and only upgrade when you have decided that you like the site. By default you are enrolled into the £5 annual fee version but this can be easily changed to the free version on this page.

If you use our link we also receive a bonus which helps keep Shopper Points ticking over.

How do I receive my £10 cashback?

It is very simple. Once you’ve joined up, you need to make a purchase of £10 or more via any of the retailers on TopCashback. It doesn’t necessarily have to be your first purchase.

Once that £10+ purchase has been confirmed by the retailer (this may take a few weeks as, for physical goods, they won’t confirm the purchase until the deadline for refunds has passed) you will receive a £10 bonus payment in your TopCashback account.

This can be withdrawn in the form of various gift cards like Amazon credit – which is my preferred option as you get a 5% bonus – or as cash to your bank account or via PayPal.

What should you do next?

If you are not already a TopCashback member, you should open a TopCashback account now and use it as the starting point for your day-to-day online shopping.

If you are already a member, consider signing up your partner or adult children. Do not open a second account for yourself as that is against TCB rules.

This is a good deal which can make you £10 very easily from your next online purchase.

If you are not already a TCB member it is well worth jumping in. If you currently use Quidco then you should move across to TCB, at least until you have earned enough to trigger the £10 TopCashback bonus.

The sign up page is here.

  1. Do you still get this bonus if you’ve had TCB in the past. I used it until they dropped clubcard.

  2. Yep, good question. I had TCB up until a year ago, but I’m keen to know if I’d be eligible for the new bonus on signing up again.

  3. I reckon if you’ve had an account in the past you are not considered a new member…..

  4. Any ideas if/when there will be another transfer bonus to Avios?

  5. Anika the link doesn’t work for me. Could you post it again?
