Amex FX Offer

Win up to 100,000 bonus Nectar points every time you fill up at Esso!

Earlier this month, petrol station chain Esso joined the Nectar scheme, taking BP’s place.

To celebrate the new partnership, Nectar and Esso are offering bonus point rewards every time you fill up at an Esso petrol station.

From now until the 24th July, you are guaranteed to win between 10 and 100,000 Nectar points each time you buy 1L of fuel or more. In theory, you could fill up your vehicle in 1L increments to maximise your chance of winning, although, this seems like a lot of effort to go to!

Your receipt will tell you how many you have won. You can win 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, 1,000 and 10,000 points. 42 lucky individuals will win the full 100,000 Nectar points. You can see the full terms and conditions here.

This is in addition to the usual earning rate, which is 1 point per 1L of fuel and 1 point per £1 spent at Esso shops.

The promotion is valid between now and the 24th July, so you should be able to hit up an Esso several times depending on your mileage. Make sure you swipe your Nectar card when making a qualifying purchase!

  1. only problem here in northern Ireland there are no esso stations

  2. I don’t think you can get one litre. Most pumps say minimum delivery 2.5 or so, it was 1/2 gal back in imperial days!

Is it a flat one point per litre regardless of whether it’s super fuel or normal? If so there’s no incentive. I always got super unleaded from shell for the double points as well as improved performance of my car

  3. Nectar offer has appeared on my account:

“25 bonus points for watching the new Virgin Trains TV advert.”

Not bad for one minute’s viewing!

  4. Will be interesting to see whether the winnings are biased, i.e. the more you spend the more points you win.

  5. So, has anyone got anything from this?
