Free on Saturday evening? Join a private ‘minimal queues’ event at LEGOLAND Windsor for under half price

If you’ve wanted to take yourself or your family down to LEGOLAND Windsor, but have always been put off by the peak-time crowds, the rip-off parking charge and (frankly) the ‘not exactly cheap’ entry fee, this Saturday night could be your night.

Between 6pm and 9pm this coming Saturday, 6th July, LEGOLAND Windsor is opening late exclusively for members of British Airways Executive Club.

(Don’t worry – ANYONE can sign up, for free, to British Airways Executive Club, so you still qualify for this offer.)

Legoland British Airways event

Tickets for this exclusive opening are £17 each for adults and for children 3+.  Children under three years old are free of charge.  Car parking is free.

Let’s compare that to what you would normally pay:

A standard day ticket for LEGOLAND, booked in advance, is usually £31 so you save £14.  Importantly, YOU CAN ENTER THE PARK WHENEVER YOU WANT ON SATURDAY.  There is no requirement to wait until 6pm to go in, although it will be substantially quieter after that.

Parking is usually £7 to £15 depending on how close to the entrance you want to be, but for this event it is free.

More importantly ….. BA is only selling 5,000 tickets for this event.  This is LESS THAN 30% of the usual peak capacity at the park.  BA hasn’t sold all its tickets either – which is why I am covering it today – so the actual number of people in the park is likely to be lower.

If three hours is about as much LEGOLAND as you can take then this a good way to keep the kids happy.  You can arrive whenever you want, however – nothing stops you turning up at 4pm (although it will be very busy then) and staying until 9pm.

The weather forecast for Saturday is looking great with no chance of rain.

You can book your tickets on this special page of the LEGOLAND website.  If the pop up doesn’t work, use the main LEGOLAND site here and use promo code BA2019 when searching for Saturday 6th July tickets.

If you have any questions, there is a FAQ for the event on this page of ba.com.

Remember that the event is this coming Saturday.  You need to book your tickets by Friday night – no tickets will be sold on the day.

PS.  If you are not already a British Airways Executive Club member you need to join here.  You can print off your membership number or download the BA app to your phone and log-in – this lets you bring up a ‘virtual’ membership card.  You will need to show this on the day.

  1. I’ve booked this but where does it say they are only selling 5000 tickets, as far as I know it says they have emailed this offer to 5000 customers, they can book as many tickets

  2. 5000 tickets are being made available.

I reckon actual numbers in the park will be around 1200-2000 at most.

Hope all the rides stay open between 6pm and 9pm!
